2013 Poets House Emerging Poet Fellow Purvi Shah reads a selection of her own works and lyrical poetry of Deccan India as part of the MetFridays Gallery Event Celebrating India.

Explore the senses with music, poetry, fragrance, an artist demonstration, and more as you chart your own path through the exhibition Sultans of Deccan India, 1500-1700: Opulence and Fantasy and the Galleries for the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia and Later South Asia, and enjoy interactive, drop-in experiences with art.
