Nicaraguan poet Ernesto Cardenal, one of the great poets of Latin America and "a major epic-historical poet" (Allen Ginsberg) shares his poems and talks about his life with his English-language translator, Jonathan Cohen.
This is a rare New York appearance for the 86-year-old Cardenal, who is the author of more than 35 books, many of them translated into English, including Pluriverse: New and Selected Poems and The Origin of Species and Other Poems.
