The Fifth Annual Poetry Walk Across the Brooklyn Bridge
Join us for our annual tribute to the landscape and literature of the city. Hear the words of Walt Whitman, Marianne Moore, Langston Hughes, and Hart Crane brought to life by Galway Kinnell, Sapphire, Gerald Stern and others. The walk includes poetry readings on the Bridge and at the Fulton Ferry Landing with a buffet supper on The Barge. During the festivities, the Elizabeth Kray Award will be presented to James Haba, Poetry Coordinator for the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. Don’t miss the event Time Out declared “could just make you fall in love with New York all over again.” Please call for more information.
