Poets House Showcase - Poetry NYC
The only event of its kind, the annual Poets House Showcase is a free exhibit featuring the new poetry books and poetry-related texts published in the United States in a single year from over 700 commercial, university and independent presses. Displaying over 3,000 volumes by individual authors, anthologies, chapbooks, biographies, critical studies, essay collections, CDs, DVDs, and more, the Poets House Showcase is a diverse and inclusive exhibition in which books from micro-presses receive the same care and attention as major publishers.

The 26th annual Showcase opens on Thursday, June 28, 2018 and the exhibit will be on view through August 18.

The Poets House Showcase is made possible by longtime Poets House supporter Deborah Saltonstall Pease (1943-2014) – an original supporter of The Paris Review – who was passionate about the Showcase because it reflects the range, diversity and inventiveness of current poetry publishing.
