Poets House is grateful to our Members for their support of our place for poetry and we are pleased to offer exciting and exclusive Members-only events throughout the year. Over the past several years, Special Members Events have included:

• A free screening of the film Bright Star preceded by a sneak preview of Poets House’s then-new space during our Grand Opening celebration;
• Legendary poet Gary Snyder reading from his work and in conversation with Jonathan Skinner, followed by a reception and book signing;
• An advance screening of the award-winning Korean film Poetry with an introduction and discussion by film critic Michael Atkinson, followed by a reception; and
• An unforgettable night of dreaming, reading and writing the “poetry of the night” at our annual Members’ Sleepover.
