Literary Partners Program presents: Kevin Goodan and Kimberly Burwick at Poets House

Come celebrate the launch of Kevin Goodan's fourth book, Let the Voices and Kimberly Burwick's forthcoming Custody of the Eyes.

Kevin Goodan was raised in western Montana and fought forest fires for ten seasons with the USFS on the Lolo National Forest. He is the author of In the Ghost-House Acquainted, Winter Tenor, Upper Level Disturbances, and Let the Voices. He is Associate Professor of English at Lewis-Clark State College.

Join us in celebrating Tonya Foster's long-awaited debut collection, A Swarm of Bees in High Court, (Belladonna*, 2015) with Charles Bernstein, Rich Blint, R. Erica Doyle, Marcella Durand, Erica Hunt, Tyehimba Jess, Evie Schokley, and beloved friends. Tonya's poetry "contemplates unspoken bonds of culture, geography, and race that bring couples and communities together, along with the terrible strains that can tear them apart" (Haryette Mullen).

Literary Partners Program presents: A Reading by New Writers from Saint Ann's School

The eighteenth annual reading by juniors and seniors from the Saint Ann's School Poetry Workshop taught by Marty Skoble. Part of our celebration of National Poetry Month, in the past these events have taken place at the Poetry Project and at Teachers & Writers Collaborative. Now, for the second year, the reading will be at Poets House.
