Have you searched the Catalog to see if your book or chapbook is in the collection? If it isn’t, we’d love to receive a copy. We’ll catalog the title, add a bookplate to reflect your donation, and add it to our library.

If you’d like to donate a book—or many books—to Poets House, please mail them or drop them off. We rely on donations to build a comprehensive collection of poetry.

If we already have a copy of the title you wish to donate, we request permission to sell the duplicate copy at a book sale, with proceeds benefitting Poets House.
